Expedition is an extraordinary nuclear powered research vessel. It can make five thousand feet depth to keel. It has transparent titanium-aluminum windows, an active camouflage system, and seven sonar systems. It carries drilling equipment, a diving bell, an exploratory submersible that can walk over coalescing lava flows, and three mini subs. The admiral is prepared for anything the sea can throw at him.
